I'm originally from Trowbridge, Wiltshire, which is in the beautiful South West England near the cities of Bath and Bristol. I speak with a clear, neutral English accent.
Before coming to the Czech Republic, I worked, lived and travelled extensively in several countries, but now I'm happy to call Prague (or rather Úvaly, where I currently live) my home.
I became a fully-qualified teacher of English as a foreign language in Prague in 2002 and since then I've been teaching English to all kinds of people, ages and abilities.
I'm particularly experienced in helping Czech, Slovak and Russian students overcome typical grammatical and pronunciation errors in English and communicate with confidence.
I'm passionate about ensuring my students make progress and achieve results. Extending your vocabulary range and practising clear pronunciation will be a regular feature in our lessons :-)
Apart from teaching, I enjoy cycling, walking, writing, making films and rail travel, especially with my son who loves trains!
